This packages contains everything you need to teach a comprehensive unit on Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot. Very little teacher prep is needed - simply print and teach!

No textbook is needed to complete these activities – all of the information needed is included in the package!

This creative and engaging package includes the following:

Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot - Important Information: Two pages of information describing the event are included.

The Gunpowder Plot - Comprehension Questions: A page of comprehension questions is included, asking kids to use their summarizing skills and to recall key details from the included text.

The Gunpowder Plot - Points to Ponder: Two pages of evidence relating to the case are included. Students must examine the evidence, and decide whether or not they think Guy Fawkes should be hung, drawn, and quartered for the crime.

Guy Fawkes: Letter of Innocence: Using the evidence provided on the included "Points to Ponder" sheets, students write a letter to the judge of the case, providing reasons why they should not be blamed for the crime.
