This full lesson has a chart and many transitions from one skill to the next for younger aged children to learn the basic fundamentals to gymnastics and tumbling. The following skills and concepts along with much more will be covered:
students will identify and use safe practices in physical activity to demonstrate safety and responsibility to self and others by following all class rules according to established protocols through the entire lesson. (10.3.3D)

students will recognize and describe the concepts and game strategies of jump roping or scooter fitnessby recalling steps to each fitness station with 100% accuracy. (10.5.3A, F)

students will engage in physical activities that promote physical fitness and health by performing jump roping or scooter for 40 seconds each according to class protocols. (10.4.3A)

students will recognize and describe the concepts and game strategies by recalling instructions to balances, supports, and rotations according to all class instructions with 100% accuracy. (10.5.3A, F)

students will engage in physical activities that promote physical fitness and health by performingbalances, supports, and rotations according to all class instructions with 100% accuracy. (10.4.3A)
