Travis Tips
Changing the pace is always fun. To continue the FUN of Hamlet, these two songs get students involved and show them how well-known Shakespeare's play is.
#1: Original lyrics put to the tune of S & G's "Cecilia". Put on Smartboard, upload the background music or song, print out the new lyrics and have students sing. This is to be at the end of Act 2 when Ophelia thinks Hamlet is mad and isn't there for him.
#2: HAIR's (rock musical) "What a Piece of Work is Man" ... put lyrics on Smartboard, upload musical background, and have students sing.
MY AP kids absolutely LOVED doing these two songs --- for many years!
