With the Commonwealth Games coming to Australia in April, it is a fantastic opportunity to link a current event with our curriculum. This resource will provide a term's work for Year 6 students - perfect for Term 1 or 2 - to use in either the lead up or follow up of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

- Students research and collect information regarding the location and features of the seven Asian countries of the Commonwealth.
- Students identify and record the economic, demographic and social characteristics of Australia and the seven Asian countries of the Commonwealth.
SECTION 2 - GRASPS Task
- Students choose an Asian Commonwealth country to further research.
