Product Description
In this lesson, nutritional needs during infancy are discussed. There will be emphasis on breastfeeding and formula feeding, including benefits and concerns with either choice, and factors that impact this decision. Transition to solid foods will also be discussed.

Learning Goals:

Analyze developments during infancy
Explain how various factors (e.g. familial, social, cultural, emotional) impacts a person’s food choices
Explain what foods are appropriate during this stage of life and why
Identify food items that would be appropriate to meet the nutritional needs at this stage of life
