This easy-to-use tracker will help you assess and track sight words for each student. It also includes a student "My Word List" so you can put unknown words in student folders or binders. It supports differentiation, monitoring, and assessment for students in grades K-5.
The .pdf includes:
* 1 HFW tracker
* 2 options for student "My Word List"
This tracker can go right into your Guided Reading planning binder. Each student gets their own page. While planning guided reading, just flip to students' information and plan to practice their unknown words.
It also helps your Word Work station. Students use their individual lists to practice with Rainbow Words, partner quizzing, or any other HFW activity you use.
The words overlap with Dolch sight words and extend beyond them as well. I did not create the word list; it is one my district uses for guided reading. Students can learn exemplar words and then transfer knowledge to help them solve new words. For example, if they learn the word "tank" they can solve thank, plank, etc.
