These are just a collection of a DOZEN items that don't make a full lesson but individually they work well to help in any chapter within the textbook. You can use one or all in any chapter, era, event, or time period. I have used them all and they all work but I have tended to spread them out through the chapters.
I really like my Who/What/When… item because it reminds me of ELA assignments done in other classes. Generally the teachers like it because I am helping their students see that things they are learning overlap.
With having an art degree also, I always like some type of artwork for my students also. I never grade hard but I tell them I just want to see their attempt at artwork and can the follow directions.
As a history teacher I have always wanted my students to do some type of timeline but I also don’t want to overload them with tons of work so I tend to keep things small and simple. There are several other items I have added just to be used whenever you feel the need.
