I always had a backup plan ready for any emergency I have. This activity was always one part of my one-day or part of a class plans in case I had to be out for whatever reason. I like having my students write and this was a no-brainer, and you never knew what you were going to get.
The first sheet(s) were something the student wrote on, the last sheet printed out and had laminated. Then I packed them all away in a manila folder or file cabinet just waiting for that needed day – which for me was very rarely.
There are 30 different items to pick from but I have the student pick numbers FIRST before I show them the write about list. That means every story, every writing prompt is different.
This is a FREEBIE so use it wisely.
