Product Description
What is the origin of the word window, and what does it mean in Old Norse? Do we still use Vikings words in the English language today?

A photocopiable printout, hand out, or worksheet that students can colour in and highlight as they learn about Vikings, history, and geography. Suitable for all ages as a stand alone sheet or part of a wider topic.

This resource was created as part of my ocean row around the coast of Great Britain, following the same routes taken by the Vikings a thousand years ago.

If you would like to follow the expedition, there is a weekly film documentary series on YouTube (Sarah Rows Solo) and Amazon Prime worldwide (search 'The Great British Viking Quest'). I do live stream sessions of the boat build, and expedition on Twitter (@GBVQuest), and free virtual sessions for schools on Skype in the Classroom.

Follow the Great British Viking Quest expedition on social media using #GBVQ If you would like to get a copy of The Great British Viking Quest printed colouring book which includes these printables, you can get it for $1 a month by becoming an expedition patron: www.patreon.com/GreatBritishVikingQuest
