This is my powerpoint lessons from Module 7 (Weeks 1 - 3) of HMH’s 2nd grade textbook Into Reading (2019). The pages include all of the Foundational Skills, Vocabulary, the Reading Mini Lesson and Grammar for each day of the week. All pages are fully editable. I love this product because you could use all of the great components of HMH Into Reading without having to navigate through the website. I also updated the slides with nearpod links to integrate technology into the lessons.

These Google Slides lessons will:

•teach the genre of the story

•set a purpose for reading

•teach the important reading skills that accompany each story

•introduce and review each story’s key vocabulary
