Brought to you by Kodaly Music With Mrs Perry, this fun contra dance includes the following:
RHYTHM - PREP work for Ti tika (write the long short shorts), PRACTICE work for Ti tika (read the rhythm, then tap the ti tika's and they turn orange)
MELODY - PRACTICE work for do-re-mi-so. Read it. Write it by dragging the misplaced pitches to the correct locations.
INSTRUMENTS - PRACTICE reading the 'do' and 'so' pitches and play an accompaniment pattern on the xylophones. The tambourine has a simple ta and rest rhythm. The drums carry the ti tika. There is both a PRACTICE rhythm for the drums and a PREP rhythm for the drums. The page comes up with the PREP rhythm, but when it is tapped, it becomes a PRACTICE rhythm page.
The DANCE directions are included.
