These 30 HTML tag cards have multiple uses.
1. Use them to assign seats. If you have a class of 15 or fewer students, print and cut one copy of each, place one blue card at each seat, and then shuffle the pink cards. Give each student a card as they walk in and have them look around to find the match.
I usually do this on the second day of teaching HTML so that I can explain on the first day about opening and closing tags. When they find the matching tag, they have found their seat.
If you have 16-30 students, print out two copies of the pink and blue tags. Place the first page of pink and blue cards at desks. Then give students a card from the second copy of the cards. I this scenario, students should look for the EXACT SAME card as the one they are given.
These cards can also be used to pick partners for group work. Instead of placing the cards on desks, you would give the matching card to another students and they would find each other.
