The Teacher-Author indicated this resource includes assets from Google Workspace (e.g. docs, slides, etc.).

This resource has both a paper cut n' paste AND a Digital Google Slides click n' drag activity, perfect for a hybrid classroom.

The digital resource includes tables for typing work, purple rectangles for indicating "like terms" to combine, and final answers to click and drag into the answer boxes. Teachers can use hearts (or substitute with their own emoji/bitmoji) to indicate correct answers and green circles to indicate incorrect work.

This matching activity is a great way for Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 students to practice multiplying:

  • 2 Binomials
  • A Binomial times a Trinomial
  • A Trinomial times a Trinomial

You can remove the second page for students who get overwhelmed easily, or require all students to do it by deleting the "bonus" label on top.

I always use boxes to teach students how to multiply polynomials. A good alternative to FOIL, students can apply boxes to any number of terms. However, the second version of the digital activity provides text boxes only, if you would prefer to have students type all work.

Understand that polynomials form a system analogous to the integers, namely, they are closed under the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication; add, subtract, and multiply polynomials.
