HabitWise is an in-class program that empowers adolescents to use the psychology of habit formation to improve their wellness, productivity, money management, and relationships. It's a critical addition to the curriculum for Health, Advisory, Family & Consumer Sciences, Guidance, Social & Emotional Learning, and After-School programs.

Lesson #4 of the HabitWise program helps students use the habit loop to strengthen their attention and avoid procrastination.

After watching the video and completing the follow-up worksheets, students will be able to:
• Recognize the impact that technology has on our ability to pay attention to important tasks.
• Recognize when their attention has drifted from an important task.
• Break big assignments into smaller tasks.
• Estimate the time it takes to do tasks.
• Set a reasonable schedule for working and taking breaks.
• Identify ways to be more organized.
• Identify habits that could have negative and positive effects on their productivity.
