Technology engages students to a much greater degree than any paper activity. This is a fun activity that gets students thinking about the different kinds of animals that live in various habitats. It works for any computer or Ipad. For this activity, students copy pictures from the picture bank within the Powerpoint, and then paste them in the appropriate habitat and in the appropriate spot (producer, consumer, secondary consumer).
This Powerpoint contains 30 images, 2 producers/ consumers/ secondary consumers for each of 5 habitats (Forest, Grasslands, Ocean, Arctic Tundra, and Desert).
This is a great way to assess students understanding of different habitats and the animals and plants that can be found in them. Students can learn about using powerpoints while also demonstrating their understanding of habitats. Additionally, this powerpoint is fully editable, so it can be modified to meet your classrooms needs.
