I created this book study to use with my class as we read Bark at the Moon by Jessica Young. This is a great graphic novel to use for reluctant readers and is especially good for teaching and/or reviewing homophones and contractions.
Some skills I included in the study are story elements, genre, making predictions, compare and contrast, homophones, using context clues, contractions, table of contents, rhyming, and cause and effect. I've also included some pages with vocabulary words found in each chapter that can be used for discussion.
I hope you enjoy this resource!
