Trying to survive on Halloween? Don't worry, you can still do academic review, but also bring the fun of Halloween in your classroom! This pack can be done in one day (or more if needed) with little preparation. Just pick and choose what works for you. This is intended to help you survive what can be a crazy, crazy day at school!
This set is great for 2nd graders to 5th graders! Just be sure to read the descriptions below to be sure it fits your needs. Feel free to ask any questions!
What's Included?:
♦ Reading Comprehension about Jack-O'-Lanterns
♦ Math Review Color-By-Number THREE versions:
- Division
- Multiplication
- Addition/Subtraction (double digits)
♦ Descriptive Writing Activity where students design and describe their own haunted house...but can they guess whose is whose just from the description?
♦ Map Skills - "Boo at the Zoo" : Students will answer questions about the zoo map. TWO versions are included:
- basic cardinal directions (all answers include north, east, south, or west)
- intermediate cardinal directions (all answers include north, east, south, west, northeast, northwest, southeast, or southwest)
♦ Spooky Science - Sound where students explore the concept of sound and pitch using some plastic cups and string!
This can be done as a demonstration and class discussion to save time, or as an experiment (lab sheet included!)
***Please Note: To do this demonstration or experiment you will need plastic cups of three different sizes (or one size cut into three different sizes) and string!
