This Halloween Mummy Craft makes a great window or bulletin board decoration. The letters for "I Want My Mummy" are provided for your use of a title for a display. Directions: Read the book Where’s My Mummy by Carolyn Crimi to the class. You can find it on YouTube, if you don’t have the book. Have students use the Mummy Craft printable to glue toilet paper on to the mummy and google eyes. Then, have students talk about how the mummy felt in the story to make a text to self connection. How would they feel if they couldn’t find their parent? How would they feel when they did find them?
Draw and write about it on the Text to Self Connection on the printable.
