Third grade students are learning about countries around the World. This fun, engaging, and interactive activity asks students to create an EASY flip book while learning about Halloween (and similar spooky holidays and traditions) from around the world.
I made this is easy I could to print. All you need to do is print the entire packet, one sided, and double stapled. The kids then cut on each of the pages, and the flipbook is created. I promise it's easy! :)
The pages included in the book include:
*Dia De Los Muertos in Mexico
*Ireland Halloween festivities.
*Obon Fesitval in Japan
*Germany Halloween festivities.
*Yue Lan Festival in Hong Kong
*USA Halloween traditions.
Each page includes a quick reading passage about the traditions in the particular country. There is also a map on most pages so students can see where the country is. On each of the pages there is a small writing activity to get students thinking about the information they read.
On the USA page, students are asked to think about their Halloween traditions.
Thanks for looking!
