Product Description

Enthuse older kids and celebrate Halloween with this detailed spooky eyeballs potion making art and creative writing activity packet.

Suitable for grades 5-8, this resource encourages students to explore illustration techniques, experiment with color, pattern and line and to write creatively and imaginatively.

The finished artworks will make a fabulous spooky display for your classroom and students can have fun exchanging ideas and discussing their potions.

There are 3 key activities to complete:

  • Eyeball jars: art activity and potion recipe writing - these jar templates can be cut out and glued back to back
  • Bloodshot eyeballs: a spooky drawing activity and creative writing prompts - again, these eyeball templates can be cut out and glued back to back
  • Doodle pages for early finishers, abstract eyeball patterns and ‘one -eyed monsters’

You will also find detailed instructions, completed examples and photographs, posters and display materials

Please do click on the Preview more detailed content information.

Materials, equipment needed:

  • Marker pens, colored pencils, watercolor paints, black and red ballpoint / fine tipped pens
  • Scissors, glue sticks
  • String and pegs to display the jars and eyeballs (optional)

Print all templates onto heavyweight paper or card stock for best results

This activity is designed to be printed on both US letter and A4 sized paper

The templates can be enlarged if you have access to a larger printer.
