This set includes 50 individual BINGO boards
and a set of calling cards for Halloween. Calling cards for the teacher to use to announce the pictures and keep track of the pictures that have been called. Each picture has words associated with it to encourage reading and decrease confusion among players. This is great for large classroom parties and small group fun! Print multiple copies of the call cards to create a second game (for the price of one) and use it as a memory game!
Directions: Print, laminate and cut out the calling cards for Halloween BINGO.
Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Draw one card
from the top of the pile, call it out loud and place it face up. Continue this
procedure until someone calls out a BINGO. Have the winner read the
matching pictures and check for a "good" BINGO by looking through the
face up cards you have called out. Shuffle the cards, have students
clear their boards and begin again.
I also use these cards to place memory in language arts center. To make
sure students can't see through the cards you might want to print on cardstock
or glue construction paper to the back of the cards. To play this print the cards
two times, laminate, and cut out the calling cards. Since there are 39 Halloween
cards (times two for memory) that will probably be too many for your students.
I usually chose 10 pictures (times two for your other set) to play. Feel free to
pick whatever number works for your students.
