10 Unique Halloween Themed Black and White Print Quality Sticker Charts for use with students PreK - 3
How you use these charts and for what purpose is completely up to you, but Melanie and I outline some ways that we use them with our students. The basic premise is to keep track of progress towards a larger goal. When objectives are met, use small stickers to fill each slot on the chart. You can divide or group sections of a chart (eg, fill the tree's branches for a small reward; fill the whole chart for a large one).
The charts are suited for use with individualized behavior plans, everyday expectations, rewards or incentives, and much more. Remember, that student FEEDBACK is the important component. Tell the student why they are getting the sticker! Good luck, and be creative!
Here are some other suggested uses and best practices:
- Allow students to select a chart they prefer
- Make clear goals, guidelines and expectations
- Allow student to color chart and make it their own
- Be CONSISTENT with its use! (can't stress this enough)
- Give stickers for daily activities such as:
Cleaning the room (PreK)
Helping a friend
Doing something above and beyond expectations
Any task student is not doing on regular basis
Reading books (each book read earns a sticker)
Getting 100 on test
For our previous customers and followers, you'll notice something a little different this time! Each unique design comes with FOUR different charts! The regular circles, squares for those bigger stickers, 4 small charts on one page, and a blank chart for those stickers that just won't fit in the spaces! We know you like to use a variety of stickers (as do we!) so we decided to give you more options.
You'll also notice that on the bottom of each page there is now a line provided. We suggest that this line be used to write a goal or what the child is earning stickers for (if the chart is being used for one specific purpose). If being used for multiple purposes or a sticker can be earned for a variety of things, we still suggest using this line to write how a student can earn a sticker (ex: cleaning the room, excellent behavior for a sub, doing all hw for the week, etc). A visual reminder is always helpful to students and you may notice better results!
