This classroom guidance lesson is perfect for Halloween with upper elementary students! Students work in small groups to discuss the assumptions they make based on outward appearances with use of 6 fun tabbed books about costumed characters! Whole group discussion examines the information we miss when we make judgments based on outward appearances. Students create their own tabbed books about themselves to share with their peers!
Includes lesson plan (objective, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), group divider cards, 6 tabbed books about costumed characters (color and black/white printing option), blank tabbed books for students to create (whole and half page printing option).
This is also included in my October resource bundle
