Comparing numbers is a standard included in the common core. This Halloween game uses candy corn to help practice this concept! Students receive a hand-full of candy corn to use as counters. Then they count out the quantity to match the two different numbers in each box. They circle the number that is bigger. Then on the back they find the smallest number in each box and circle. There is also an extension for your kiddos who are already adding! After they count out the groups and circle the largest on the front, they add the two small groups together and write the sum.
