Costume Main Idea and Details / Infer - 4 graphic organizers where students will state the main idea of a costume and write or draw 4 supporting details. Graphic organizers and student writing page where students will write clues (details) to support the main idea of what they were for Halloween. For making inference practice, students can share details aloud and other students will infer the main idea (costume). Example: Main idea — I was a witch. Details — I had a black dress. I wore a pointy hat. I painted my face green.
Halloweiner Story Elements - Students will complete the graphic organizer to describe the characters, setting, problem, and solution of the story Halloweiner (book not included).
Halloweiner Class Book Writing Prompt - Students will draw and write to design a new costume for the main character in the story Halloweiner (book not included).
