Need an activity to teach problem solving and cause/effect? Here is your perfect, Halloween task cards or games to be used in stations or as a fun game. During the game,a student selects one card. If they draw a costume card, they must answer the question on the bottom of the card by stating either a cause or effect of the given situation. If they are correct, they may keep the card. If not, they must put the card back in the pile. Wild cards are included to make the game more fun! Win the costume contest and a bag of candy to steal a card from another player! If you win the pumpkin carving contest, you get another card. Stay away from the eyeball candy! You will give up one of your cards to another player. Try not to find the haunted house, because you will lose a turn! The game continues until all the cards are gone or time is up. Then, the player with the most Halloween costume cards wins!
