This engaging activity puts a fun spin on analyzing word relationships and identifying synonyms and antonyms. It also makes a creative bulletin board or school hallway display for October.
On one page, students will analyze 12 pairs of words and determine whether they are synonyms or antonyms. On another page, students will be given 4 words, and they must generate 2 synonyms and 2 antonyms for the given words. When finished with the worksheets, they color the images and assemble the craftivity.
Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. (An answer key is also included.)
