This product has black and white Halloween worksheets and a game. Print and copy worksheets as many times as needed for your class/groups. No preparation! The game is also easy to use- print game boards and description cards. You can laminate these if you want to use them again or just print/read off the cards without the need for cutting and laminating
Activity 1: Comparing Halloween Characters (5 sheets)
These sheets use a Venn diagram type layout. Two characters are included on each sheet. Students need to write what they know about each character. Any information that the characters have in common or ‘alike’ can be written in the rectangle that overlaps each characters profile rectangle. All other knowledge of the character can be written in the character rectangles to show the differences
Activity 2: Describing Halloween Objects (10 sheets)
The centre of each sheet shows a Halloween object. The outer parts of the sheet have 6 titles that give examples of how to describe the centre object. Students can write as many words as they can think of that describe the Halloween object in the outer sections. Some sections many have many words, only one or none if the object can’t be described by that feature
Activity 3: Labelling Parts of Halloween Characters (4 sheets)
- These sheets are cut and paste activities. Cut out the 6 labels at the bottom of the sheet and glue them onto the squares that match the part of the character
- This game has 4 different game boards for students to use. Use the cards provide to read descriptions to students. Students look to see if they have an object that matches the description on their board. If they do they can put a counter or dot maker on the square to show they have it. The student who finds objects all in one row or one column is the winner and says Bingo!
