Halloween is almost here! These spiders may be just creepy enough to engage young minds in a game of sight word Bingo! This game
uses the Pre-Primer sight words. There are a total of 13 pages in this packet. 9 pages hold game cards with 2 different cards on each page. 2 pages contain the word cards. All 40 sight words are used on the game boards. Now if only there were some children around.
Instructions for use:
Print a copies of pages 3-13. Pages 3-4 contain the words for the caller. Simply trim and laminate. Pages 5-13 are the game boards. Cut these pages in half to create 18 game boards. For
durability laminate or use clear contact paper on the games and the words.
How to play the game:
Distribute one game card per child. Give each student 9
tokens to use to cover the words (not included). One person acts as the caller and shows the class the word. The students look at their game card to search for the word. If they have the word, they cover it with a token. Once all their words are covered a ‘bingo’ is achieved.
