Halloween Double digit addition puzzles

Fun Halloween double-digit addition puzzles for grades 1st – 3rd. This is a fun way to continue teaching math with a hands-on approach. Y’all know I love hands-on learning when it comes to teaching my own kids. I try to help share that with others with these printables.

When we get into higher grade levels hands-on learning starts to dwindled and become non-existent. I am hoping to break that cycle or at least try to keep teaching with a hands-on perspective.

This printable contains 7 pages of candy corn puzzles 3 puzzles per page. You can easily laminate these and then cut them out to get maximum use out of them.

Works to help kids add double-digit numbers but in a fun way. If you laminated them the kids can use a dry erase marker and work the problem out on the card then match the answer to the puzzle. The student could also work the problem out on a chalkboard or whiteboard to practice carrying.
