A Haunted Walk: 2 Digit by 2 Digit Multiplication Game
Set up all of the haunted places in order from 1-12. Each student places their character of choice at the starting place. Each time a student answers a question card, they get to move forward towards their final stop--their house. They are going from spooky place to spooky place trying to be the first student to make it back home! Students are practicing solving multi-digit multiplication equations (2 digit by 2 digit) and can use any strategy you'd like to solve each equation. There are also chance cards thrown in that can help or hurt a player's chances in winning the game. Answer key included.
Trick or Treat: 1 Digit by 4 Digit Multiplication Game
Each child is given a trick-or-treat bag and the candy pieces go in the candy bowl in the middle. Each time a student solves a multiplication card, they get to add a piece of candy to their Halloween trick-or-treat bag. The first player to get 10 pieces of candy in their bag wins the game! There are also chance cards thrown in to spice up the game and makes things more interesting! Answer key included.
Let's Build Monsters: Addition and Subtraction
This Halloween-themed game is perfect for the month of October! The kids each get a monster body game board. Each time they figure out an addition or subtraction equation, they get to add part of their monster to their game board. Chance cards can help or hurt a student's chances of winning. Answer key included.
Halloween Village: Multiplication Word Problems
This Halloween math game is perfect practice for kids who need extra practice with multiplication word problems. Each question card contains 1 digit by 4 digit multiplication or 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. Students lay out the game board and put an object of their choice on the start. They answer a question card. If they get it correct, they get to randomly pull out a circle Halloween card. Based on what they draw out, the "game answer key" tells them if they get to go forward or backwards. Each Halloween themed circle represents a number of spaces they can go forwards or backwards. It's a game of chance based on who answers the most questions correctly AND who draws out the best circles. Answer key included.
Line Them Up: 2 Digit by 2 Digit Multiplication
There are two sets of this game included so students can race against another team. I like to play this game in my classroom with 2 kids versus 2 kids. They each find their start card and then line up the cards in order based on what the answer to each multiplication equation is! This is a self-checking game because when all of the cards are used, the finish card is used last.
Grab It: Division Facts
Students lay out all of the pumpkin cards that show division quotients. Then, they flip over one cat card and have to figure out the answer to each division equation in their head (mental math). The students look for the match to their division equation and the first person to yell “Grab It!” and find the matching card wins that round. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins!
Hungry Zombies: Rounding Game
There are 24 zombies included and 24 eyeball jars! Each of the hungry zombies wants to eat an eyeball for Halloween! Help each zombie eat the correct eyeball by matching up each shape with the clue given. Students have to practice rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, and million.
Halloween Photos: 1 Digit by 4 Digit Multiplication Game
Each of the Halloween photos has a cute Halloween character on it that wants to solve a multi-digit multiplication equation. Students have to match each witch answer with the correct picture. This is a fun racing game because students race to see who can find the most witches that match with the pictures.
Halloween Emoji: 2 Digit by 2 Digit Multiplication
Students try to get five in a row diagonally, horizontally, or vertically on their board.First, student pulls out a ghost randomly and it will have a letter on it. Depending on the ghost's letter, they solve an equation on that row that has them complete a 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication equation. When a student fills up a whole row, they win!
Candy Galore: Multiplication and Division Comparative Word Problems Game
In this Halloween candy math game, the students have to solve the multiplication or division word problem on each candy bag. They then find the piece of candy that has the matching answer. They then have to put the candy in the correct candy bag based on the answer.
