Halloween Fun for Middle School!
This packet of six activities includes four logic puzzles, one cryptogram, and one grid drawing sheet.

In the first logic puzzle is Halloween Talent Show, in which users solve for the act and place of five kids in a talent show.
In the second logic puzzle, Trick-or-Treat Time, users read the clues to find the costume, favorite candy, and the time that four friends left to trick-or-treat.
In the third logic puzzle, Cousins Creepy Cuisine, use the clues to find where each cousin sat and what creepy food they had for Halloween dinner.
The fourth logic puzzle is Haunted House. Use the clues to see which spook is haunting which room in the haunted house.
The cryptogram has twelve Halloween words and a Halloween quote to be decoded.
The grid drawing sheet is a picture of a witch.
The academic bonus for this packet is a riddle solved by finding letters matching coordinate pairs on a grid.

The puzzles vary in difficulty and are ready to print, copy, and use- no other prep necessary! An answer key and a few tips are included. These puzzles are great to use as a filler activity, with a substitute, or after a test is given, and yet they will still challenge your students’ minds. I hope you enjoy these activities!
