Supports expanding receptive and expressive language skills; categorization, describing, comprehension, function, articulation carryover, fluency, sentence structure, vocabulary development, etc.
If desired, laminate the game board for durability.
Using plastic jumping frogs, have students take turns flipping their frogs onto the game board. I recommend using the Expanding Expression Tool by Sara L. Smith in conjunction with Halloween Hop. (www.expandingexpression.com) Students must express the detail indicated on each space as it corresponds to the EET bead. Each correct response is worth one point. The student with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.
*If you don’t have jumping frogs, print out the pumpkin spinner provided. Rather than jumping frogs students take turns spinning the spinner.
