In this smart board activity created by Heather Bates,SLP students are given 4 clues to help them figure out what each child will be for Halloween. Each clue is written in a sequencing format using first, next, then, last. One clue is given at a time to allow your students to make an educated guess on what the costume could be. In addition, use of the future tense helping verb "will" is targeted. Prediction and deductive thinking skills can also be incorporated into this activity. Students have so much fun using their knowledge along with the clues to determine what each child will be for Halloween! The adorable clip art is from Scrappin Doodles!
