Students love logic grid puzzles! They encourage critical thinking and the use of deductive reasoning, require students to determine the relationship between two things based on clues. These no prep printables are a great math activity leading up to Halloween!
Students will use the clues provided and fill in the grids with Xs (if that relationship cannot be a match based on the clues) or √ marks if the relationship is a match based on the clues. The process of elimination usually helps students complete the puzzle.
*The first puzzle is easier than the second for most students, so I encourage you to start with the first.
How can you use logic grid puzzles?
*Whole class learning
*Easy math activity for a substitute
*A math activity for early finishers
*A critical reading activity
