What a fun way for your students of various ages to practice math fact families! I took the original idea of a "fact family house" and turned it into a Haunted House for Halloween! If you look at the preview images, you'll see many spooky surprises, like ghosts, pumpkins, and a number of spiders I've hidden for extra fun!
The printables are easy for the students to engage in...They simple write in the three numbers in the fact family in the top windows of the Haunted House. Then below that there are the unfinished number sentences just waiting for them to complete! I've left a majority of the house "empty" so the students could color and decorate it when they were finished.
You'll receive 7 printables within this product:
~1 full-page Addition/Subtraction Haunted House
~1 full-page Multiplication/Division Haunted House
~1 full-page Addition/Subtraction with completed examples
~1 full-page Multiplication/Division with completed examples
~2 pages with 4 scaled down full-pages, for extra practice. So it's comparable to having 4 Haunted Houses on 1 sheet (Addition/Subtraction AND Multiplication/Division)
~1 page with 4 scaled down full-pages with both Addition/Subtraction and Multiplication/Division together on 1 page
This is an activity that will spice up the usual fact family houses the students are used to; the finished products could also be used as a Halloween bulletin board or they could be completed as homework or at your Halloween Party! Fun and engaging!
