Product Description
October themed graphics like pumpkins, Halloween costumes, and candy treats add fun to these math First Grade Common Core State Standards (CCSS) printable worksheets. Be prepared for extra practice, centers, fast finishers, review before a test, a sub or to start the day with some review.

Most pages are labeled with CCSS. Number lines, hints and clues to solving problems are also provided on some pages. "Brain Bonus" challenge problems are included on some pages to reach all of your students' levels and to challenge and extend your students' learning. These will make your job easier. Just look for the standard you need and head to the copy machine.

21 pages all together and most are CCSS labeled for:
Operations & Algebraic Thinking and Number & Operations in Base Ten.
Three of the worksheets are word problems. Do these as a class and walk them through the thinking behind solving them if your students need that.

Seasonal graphics add a little fun for the students. They can enjoy coloring them after they have completed the math. (Yes, they can have some fun while learning) A few are not Halloween themed (a bat, cat, spider, or just numbers) allowing you to use the page any time during the year. (Sh! Those pages are like BONUS pages.)

Create equivalent but easier or known sums.
1.OA.D.7: Understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine if equations involving addition and subtraction are true or false.
1.OA.D.8: Determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction equation relating to three whole numbers.
