Description

Halloween Math Centers is full of fun hands on activities that students will love during the month of October. All of the centers are common core aligned and are developmentally appropriate for kindergarten. The students will love the fun graphics!

Nocturnal Number Order 1-10 (K.CC.A.1)
Nocturnal Number Order 1-15 (K.CC.A.1)
Weaving a Number Web: the boys and girls will match groups of spiders to numbers and record their findings (K.CC.B.5).
Missing Spider Mystery: students will find the missing number (K.CC.A.1).
“Witch” Pumpkin is Mine?: the boys and girls will match pumpkin ten frames to numbers on pumpkin pies to help the witch find her pumpkin (K.CC.B5).
Bat Count: students will count the total number of bats and write the number on the recording sheet (K.CC.A.1).
Numbers and Quantities Spin and Count(1-5): students will spin a spinner and count the total number of spooky objects. Then, they will practice writing the number on the recording sheet (K.CC.B.5).
Numbers and Quantities Spin and Count(6-10): students will spin a spinner and count the total number of spooky objects. Then, they will practice writing the number on the recording sheet (K.CC.B.5).
Spider Spin and Add: the boys and girls will spin the spinner twice and add of the flies to find the total number of flies each spider caught (they can also use a dice) (K.OA.A.1).
Spiders vs. Bats: students will compare groups of objects and determine which group is greater (K.CC.C.6).
Spooky Pet Matching Game the boys and girls will help the wizards find their pets by matching numbers to sets (K.CC.B.5).
Nocturnal Spin and color: the boys and girls will roll the dice and color the matching number (K.CC.A.1).
Five Little Pumpkin in a Row: the boys and girls will roll two dice and them together. Then they will color the matching number. (Dice Game) K.CC.A.1
Patterns
Batty Addition: the boys and girls will add the numbers or bats up to solve the number sentences (K.OA.A.1).
Magical Friends Count and Graph: the boys and girls will help the wizard count all of the creatures and color them on the graph (K.MD.A.1).

My Pumpkin Ten Frame Reproducible: the boys and girls will write the missing numbers in the pumpkin book (RF.K.4).
