Connect 4 Addition – 20 Game Boards – Halloween Theme – Partner Game
Engage your students with this fun Halloween partner game which provides practice with addition facts. Your students will enjoy trying to be the first player to get four in a row on the game board.
There are 20 Halloween themed game boards included in this game:
• Add and Cover (7 different game boards)- Each player will roll 2 dice, find the sum, and cover that sum on the game board.
• A game board for each of the following: Add One, Add Two, Add Three, Add Four, Add Five, Add Six, Add Seven, Add Eight, Add Nine, and Add Ten- Each player will roll 2 dice, find the sum, and add 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 (depending on which game board is in use) to it. The player will then cover that sum.
• Double It! – Each player will roll 1 die, double it, and cover that sum.
• Add and Double (2 different game boards)- Each player will roll 2 dice, find the sum, and double it. Cover that final sum on the game board.
BUT WAIT! There’s a twist…. If a player covers a box that is touching the side/top/bottom of an uncovered picture, the player gets to cover that box too!
The player who gets 4 in a row is the winner.
So, gather up some dice and counting chips and have fun!
My students absolutely love this game, and I hope your students will too! This makes a great Halloween math center!
