This series of Halloween math activities is a fun way to celebrate Halloween and practice ratios. The first activity combines logic and ratio as students try to piece together clues to finish the recipe for the witches’ brew.
The second activity focuses on unit rates and unit conversions as students must convert between the units at the apothecary and standard units. Note: This activity uses imaginary units so this activity practices the process of conversion between units, but not conversions of real units.
The final activity uses logic and ratios for students to find the location of the witches’ party based on the clues given in the invitation.
