Literacy Morning Tubs:
ABC Spider Web:
☼ Your students will select a spider alphabet card and identify the lowercase or capital letter. They will then form that letter on the spider web using play dough.
☼ Candy Corn Letter Sound Match:
Your students will sort and match the lowercase and capital letters. They will then find the last piece of the candy corn with the picture that begins with the letter.
☼ Sight Word Halloween Gumball Machine:
Your students will select a Sight Word Halloween Gumball Machine and read the word. They will then spell the word using the letter gumballs.
☼ Rhyming Bat Puzzles:
Your students will find the two pictures that rhyme and match the pieces together to make a bat.
☼ Halloween Missing Letter Clip Cards:
Your students will select a card and identify the missing letter in alphabetical order. They will then place a clothes pin on the missing letter.
Math Morning Tubs:
☼ Connect Links Counting Spiders:
Your students will select a spider web number card and identify the number on it. They will then count that number of spiders and connect them to the spider web card using connect links.
☼ Ghostly Addition To 5:
Your students will select a ghostly addition card and count the number of ghosts, add the two numbers together, and write the sum in the box.
☼Pumpkin Number Writing:
Your students will select a card and identify the number on it. They will then trace over the number using a dry erase marker.
☼ Comparing Numbers Monster:
Your students will roll the die, identify the number, and make that number of play dough balls or pieces in the monster’s mouth. They will then repeat the steps and compare the numbers.
☼ Number Word Spider Puzzles:
Your students find the spider number and number word that match and put the puzzle pieces together.
