Halloween Multiplying and Dividing Decimals Task Cards

Do your students need extra practice multiplying and dividing decimals? Try this fun, engaging, Halloween themed set of 32 task cards, which focus on the skill of multiplying and dividing decimals! The font used on these cards is very clear and easy to read for your students.

The task cards in this set align with:

CCSS 5.NBT.7:Add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals to hundredths, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used and

CCSS 6.NS.B.3: Fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit decimals using the standard algorithm for each operation.

-8 multiplying decimals by whole numbers computation task cards

-8 multiplying decimals by decimals computation task cards

-8 dividing decimals by whole numbers computation task cards

• a full page student answer sheet
• a half-page student answer sheet (two on one page that can be cut in half)
• a full size answer key
• a mini-cover sheet and a mini-answer key (for storing your cards neatly)

Use these cards in small groups, centers, one-on-one, a game of scoot, or whole class review. This resource can be used with 5th or 6th graders.

*TEACHER TIP: Print on cardstock and laminate for durability. If you do not want to print in color, print using grayscale to maintain aesthetic quality of clipart and fonts. Use the mini-cover sheet to glue on the outside of a photo case for neat storage of task cards.
