Product Description
We all know that Halloween can be a hectic time as an elementary teacher. I believe that you can either work with it or against it! This activity allows your students to fully research, budget, and plan for a Halloween party. This packet includes an open budget in which you will determine based on the needs, level, and students in your classroom.

This download includes several options for your customization.
*Party Planning Booklet: After copying four pages double-sided, you will have a booklet that is ready for your students to begin planning. You will only need to set a budget for your students to work with. My favorite component of this booklet is that I require students to research more than one option and explain how their budget affected their choice.
*Frankenstien's Party Outlet Catalog: This catalog was created with differentiation in mind. You can copy mix and match the pages or create certain catalogs for various levels of students that you work with. Either way, you will be able to address either whole or decimal numbers with this catalog. Students will use the prices in the catalog to determine which costume they will wear, which decorations they will purchase, and choose between three options for paper plates, cups, and napkins.
*Miss Davinia's Dinner Specials: Students can also be given a copy of fictitious dinner specials to select their dinner menu. They can mix and match food items, as well as plan for the quantity of people they will be serving.

My students have 1:1 access to iPads and will be doing some additional research to plan party games and prizes.
