Description

This resource provides fun and inviting Halloween pig themed ten frames clip card math centers for learners to practice counting quantities to 20. This packet has 5 Count and Clip Card activities. There are 21 clothespin clip cards for each activity. There is a set of clothespin clip cards with Halloween Pigs graphics, tens frames, and a choice of three numerals printed on each card. The images include a pig in a witch’s hat standing by a fence, a pig in a witch’s hat waving, a pig popping out of a pumpkin, a pig dressed as a ghost with candy corn, and a pig in a witch’s hat and shoes trick-or-treating.

IMPORTANT!!! This resource is NOT suitable for individuals or classes who do not celebrate Halloween.

Print, laminate, and cut out the clothespin clip cards. You will need 21 clothespins for each activity.

Learners determine the quantity represented by the ten frame and clip a clothespin on the correct numeral or they can use dry erase markers to circle the correct numeral. You may opt to make these cards self-checking by writing the answer on the back or marking a dot on the back at the correct spot.

These activities help learners develop numeracy and support the Math Common Core Standards for Counting and Cardinality.
