24 Halloween themed problem solving task cards.
These were designed for 5th grade; but could be used in fourth or sixth grade depending on the level and purpose of your lesson.
I have used these in several different ways. One year, on Halloween when they were wild, I put all 24 cards out on a table. They picked one, took it to their seat and solved it. When they finished, they grabbed another one. At the end of the class period we graded them and the student with the most correct received candy. They had a lot of fun with that and they were into it!
Last year I made it a center during the whole month of October. If they were done with their work, they could go work on the task cards. On Halloween, we graded them and the student with the most correct received candy. They liked that.
I have also used it for sub plans during October. It's easy to give to an aide to work with kids, or if you have them, a parent volunteer.
Use them however you see fit!
Enjoy. Happy teaching! :)
