Halloween Recorder - Recorder Sheet Music
This song is transcribed in the key of C major. The notes used are E, G, A, B and C. Listen to the preview. It's the melody.
It's mostly in quarter notes with just a few half notes, so it makes a great note review. There's a pickup measure and one easy tie at the end, so it would be a good song to introduce them.
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a a song to a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder
✫ fun recorder faces showing the fingering for the notes
✫ crisp images (still gorgeous when using an "economy ink" setting)
✫ beautiful projections (300 dpi )
✫ low ink usage duplicate ***included in every resource
✫ written on Lilypond (software which renders the highest
-quality sheet music)
✫ five classroom-practice mp3's at 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 beats-per-minute (tempo)
A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.
Good to know.
There's a real shortage of good, easy Halloween songs out there, so I took it upon myself to write three...here are the words to this one.
Far off in an ancient land; blowing winds and shifting sands.
Stands a temple never found; buried deep beneath the ground.
Golden treasures fill the tomb; booby traps and secret rooms.
If one steals the royal purse, they will bear the Mummy's curse!
