There are uppercase and lowercase alphabet recognition activities (you could also have students to say the letter sound when they pick up a card to differentiate) and a numeral/ten frame/number/tally mark word recognition activity. To play, place one card on each square of the game board. A student rolls a die and they have to pick up the card next to the number on the game board that they rolled on the die. They need to identify what is on the card. If they can name what is on the card, they get to keep it. If they can’t, they return the card to the game board and their turn is over. The board is passed to the next player. The student who has the most cards at the end of the game wins.
