Bring some holiday fun into the classroom with the Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt! Inside you will find five different activities that are perfect for engaging your students during this exciting time of year!

Scavenger Hunt: One costume checklist page, two candy checklist pages, and two graphing pages (one for costumes and one for candy).

Candy Invention Creative Writing Class Book: One class book cover page, 5 different journal pages for writing about each candy invention, plus one blank template and one handwriting lines page for those that need more writing space.

Mystery Costume Puzzles: One puzzle template for 26 different costumes including clues. One page with costume illustrations for students to cut out and glue on the correct puzzle page.

Map: Have students create a map of the path they take for trick-or-treat being sure to include a map title, map legend, compass rose, and at least 5 symbols. Also included is a Directions page where students can use direction words to describe the path they take (ex. north, east, south, west) and 6 compass rose templates that can be cut out and added to the map.

Treat Bag Toppers: 5 pages containing different Treat Bag Toppers to be used when celebrating with your students by giving them a little gift. Instructions for putting the bags together are included.

Answer Key/Rubrics: Answer keys for all pages provided, plus writing rubrics for creative writing pieces for the following grades: kindergarten, first, second, third.
