This game is a favorite of teachers and students!
It can be used for introduction of a unit, chapter, or lesson. It can also be used for assessment review.
Begin by cutting up the scavenger hunt cards and taping around the room. Then, pass out the scavenger hunt worksheet to students. Students can use clipboards and go "hunt" for the answers that have been taped. Next, come together to go over the answers so everyone has a correct worksheet. Last, pass out the bingo cards with some marker chips. I use candy or two-color counters.
Students may use the worksheet for hints...or make it challenging with no worksheet!
The included call list makes it easy to keep track of under which bingo letter you have called out each clue. Just check under the corresponding BINGO letter.
Have fun with holidays and science.
This game is appropriate for grades 4-6.
