This is a sentence writing Halloween activity. There are two different ways that you can use this activity with students. The orange set allows students to read and write each sentence. They will then scan the QR code to check their answers. Each QR code contains a picture that matches each sentence. This is a great activity to reinforce the decoding strategy of using picture clues when reading.
The green set is designed to differentiate for your students who are ready to read sentences on their own. The green set allows students to read and write each sentence. They will then scan each
QR code, cut it out and glue it to the matching sentence.
This would be a great read around the room picture hunt activity, an
EXCELLENT opportunity to get your students up and moving. Hide each code around the room (set extra codes under each hidden code.)
The students can then scan the code and take the extra code to glue on to their matching sentences.
Please make sure that if your codes are not working at school that you check with your IT person to make sure that Youtube is not blocked at your school.
